1940 Arcade, No. 1670 Cast Iron International Dump Truck
Brilliant cast iron and pressed steel International Dump Truck from Arcade. Available as either a dump truck or wrecker it was produced by Arcade during their next to final year of manufacturing. Fantastic truck with all original paint and all original parts. Nothing repainted or replaced. It has a green painted cast iron cab and front end with silver painted highlights. It has both of its original Arcade decals on the driver and passenger doors. The rear chassis is pressed steel and painted red. The dump box is also pressed steel painted yellow with green trim. It has its original manual dump lever. The tires are black, solid rubber with aluminum finished centers. The truck was not originally produced with International decals. Underside of the hood embossed "ARCADE" and "Made in U.S.A." in raised letters. "1650" stamped into underside of front bumper. No. 1650 was the catalog number for the wrecker which used this same front cab section. In 1940 it sold at retail for 50¢. Size: 11" x 3" wide x 3¼" tall.
